Venue Information:
This stadium was origanally built for the 1974 Fifa World Cup and is the home to Borussia Dortmund.
The reconstruction of the stadium was completed in late 2003 in which the 2 sets of stand were joined together, A VIP section was added, all lower section seat had backrests added, a new electronic admission system was installed and finally improved locker rooms and team areas were addded. During the resconstruction plans had to include proper airflow so that the pitch would have proper ventalation.
