Home to Eintracht Frankfurt this stadium boasts a translucent retractable roof and an unground parking area for 1 800 vehicles.
This stadium replaced the old Waldstadion which saw a bought in 1966 between Muhammad Ali vs Karl Mildenberger and a 1974 warterlogged Fifa Wolrd Cup semi-final match between Poland and West Germany.
As a tribute to the sport rich heritage of this site there was no interruption to the Bundesliga programme during construction.
Along with it's historic and technical wonders there is a green side to this stadium. The stadium featers a vast rain water collection and drainage facility.
